Shots Up was founded with a simple mission: to help basketball players at all levels track their progress and become better shooters. We believe that every player deserves access to powerful analytics tools to understand their performance.

The idea for Shots Up came from a personal place. As a 16-year-old basketball player from Auckland, I spent countless hours manually tracking my shooting stats on spreadsheets, trying to understand my progress and identify patterns in my game. It was tedious, time-consuming, and I knew there had to be a better way. After discussing this challenge with my dad, we realized that thousands of players like me were facing the same problem. We decided to create a platform dedicated to shooting stats—a place where players can log their performance in real-time and watch their progress unfold through beautiful charts and analytics.

Together, my dad and I built Shots Up to solve the problem we experienced firsthand. We wanted to create something that would help players like me focus on what matters most: improving our game. By removing the friction from stat tracking, we believe players can spend more time analyzing their performance and less time managing spreadsheets.

Today, Shots Up is used by players and coaches across multiple regions, and we're just getting started. Our vision is to become the go-to platform for basketball analytics, helping millions of players reach their full potential.
